Most organizational leaders believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and understand that true change requires more than check-box diversity training. They want engaging, proven initiatives, and results they can see. Brave Space draws from 30+ years experience in behavior science to create evidence-based, results-focused learning environments conducive to the level of self-awareness needed to impact measurable change. We guide you in creating best practice DEI initiatives that are meaningful and data-based, ensuring measurable results. The Brave Space Effect: Workplace Culture Audit - We survey stakeholders, review HR policy and enforcement, and hold focus groups to understand key areas to address in training. Customized Education and Skill Development - From the audit findings we create shared language, and teach overcoming bias in a mindfulness container, which circumvents defensiveness and enables deep engagement. Goal-setting and Implementation Sessions - Get proven systems in place! We workshop best practice* initiatives that might be a good fit and guide each step of embedding DEIB priorities into every organizational system. *Best practice means they have been implemented, researched, shown to succeed, are repeatable and measurable. Follow-up - Progress toward goals are reviewed, stakeholders are surveyed, goals and steps are tweaked as needed.
